MEET RACHEL MAY
I’ve always been drawn to people, their stories, their struggles, their triumphs. My working life began in retail, where I learned the value of listening and connection.
As my family grew and life evolved, I moved into NHS Recruitment, meeting people from all walks of life and hearing the stories that shaped them. That passion for understanding others deepened when I stepped into the Criminal Justice System, supporting individuals on probation through rehabilitative programmes. It was here I witnessed firsthand the power of change, resilience, and the human capacity for growth.
MY BELIEF
Through every chapter of my career, and my life. I’ve come to believe that every person has a story worth telling. And when it’s shared with honesty, warmth, and respect, it becomes something truly meaningful. That belief is at the heart of my work as a celebrant: creating space for stories to be honoured, voices to be heard, and moments to be remembered.
